The Site and Its Team

Ply Yard develops the game, writes the site content, and maintains the website. This is a dedicated Plane Shooter site. The Ply Yard link and other game links in the footer take you to their respective websites.

The Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English editions describe the same game with the same features and limits. Switching languages does not create an account or upload local scores to a server.

Three Modes and Their Limits

In endless solo play, one player controls one plane, and the run ends when all lives are lost. Local co-op lets two players use the arrow keys and WASD on one device, sharing lives, a score, and a bomb cooldown. It is not live multiplayer across devices.

Same Run shares a random seed through the URL's run parameter. Each device plays and scores independently. A seed is not a complete replay: speed, playfield size, and runtime timing still affect the run. Matching links do not guarantee identical enemy conditions. There are no live rooms, spectating, score uploads, or public leaderboards.

Browser Play and Local Records

You can play without downloading anything or creating an account. Computers support keyboard controls and dragging; phones and tablets support dragging. The current version does not support independent two-finger control of two planes.

Your best score, theme, sound setting, and information panel state stay in the current browser. Best score updates only at game over; unfinished progress is not saved, and records do not sync across devices. Supported browsers can add a home screen or Dock shortcut, but that does not provide full offline support or cloud saves.

Updates and Feedback

The rules explain controls, hit detection, scoring, and when records are saved. The tips cover assessing threats, dodging, and using bombs. Tips and diagrams help explain decisions; they do not guarantee safe routes or higher scores.

Mechanics, interface details, and documentation may change with updates. If an explanation does not match what you see, or controls or visuals are not working, use the contact page to send the page URL, device, browser, and steps to reproduce the issue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to install the game or sign up?

No. You can play directly in your browser. Adding a home screen or Dock shortcut is optional and depends on browser support. The shortcut does not provide an account, cloud saves, or guaranteed offline play.

Can two devices play live co-op?

No. Local co-op uses the arrow keys and WASD on one device, with shared lives, a score, and a bomb cooldown. Same Run lets devices play independently, but it is not live multiplayer.

Can a Same Run link restore my run?

No. It shares a random seed, not saved inputs, positions, lives, scores, or progress. It does not guarantee identical enemies, either. Reloading or closing the page loses an unfinished run, which the link cannot restore.

Where can I read about data or get help?

The privacy policy explains local records, website requests, and email data. The terms cover playing, sharing, and using site content. The contact page provides an email link and explains what to include in a report.
